For venue hosts in English
Booking software for event venues in Estonia and the Baltics
You run a space in Estonia, in English, or from abroad. Saalo takes a request from your own website to a quote, a deposit and the day of the event, with euros, Estonian VAT and invoices built in.
Who this page is for
- Venue hosts and owners who are not Estonian speakers, including e-residents running a space.
- International retreat, workshop and coworking operators renting rooms in Tallinn, Tartu and elsewhere in the Baltics.
- Hosts whose customers, or who themselves, work in English and want one tool that handles requests in English, Estonian, Russian, Latvian and Lithuanian.
What you get
- A request form on your own website (or a stand-alone link) in five languages. Customers see only free times, and a customer can join the waitlist when a time is taken.
- Prices from your own rules: hourly, day, per person, season and weekday rates, extras. The AI writes the text of the quote draft; the amounts come from your rules.
- A person approves the quote before it is sent (the default; instant quote is an option you switch on for chosen booking types).
- Online acceptance and deposits: the customer accepts through a link and can pay a deposit to your own Montonio account (live payments are in pilot).
- Event-day sheets: a run sheet and a kitchen sheet from the confirmed booking.
- Estonian invoices and VAT: invoices with a reference number and an e-invoice XML export (not yet tested with an operator).
- One flat monthly fee, no commission, cancel any month. The first 30 days are free and no card is needed.
How to start
- Open the demo booking form to see what your customers see.
- Start the 30-day trial; no card. Add your rooms and paste in your price list so the system builds the price rules, then check them before you save.
- Put the form on your website, or share the link. See the Features page for the full list.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Saalo if I do not speak Estonian?
Yes. The staff area is in English as well as Estonian and Russian, and the customer-facing form and quote pages are available in English, Estonian, Russian, Latvian and Lithuanian.
What currency and VAT does Saalo use?
Prices and quotes are in euros. Estonian VAT is shown on the quote and invoice. Saalo's own subscription is priced net: Estonian VAT of 24 % applies, and a business in another EU country with a valid VAT number is invoiced at 0 % (reverse charge). Ask your accountant how it applies to you.
Is there a commission on my bookings?
No. There is a fixed monthly fee, and Saalo takes no percentage of your bookings.
Can customers pay a deposit online?
A deposit can be requested through your own Montonio account. Live payments are in pilot, so ask us for the current status before you rely on them.
What is not ready yet?
Google and Outlook calendar sync is in beta, the e-invoice XML has not been tested with an operator, and Latvian and Lithuanian text is awaiting a native-speaker review.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. The first 30 days are free with all Pro features included, and no card is needed.
