Example scenario: studio
A studio that rents rooms by the hour
A made-up studio with three rooms rents them to therapists and teachers. This is how it looks in Saalo.
Example scenario, not a customer story. The venue, people and prices are made up to show how Saalo works.
The renter chooses
A therapist opens the studio's booking page. They see the rooms and the free slots and get an estimated price straight away. No phone call or chat thread is needed.
Request and confirmation
The therapist sends a request. The studio owner sees it in one calendar alongside other bookings and confirms. The price is calculated from the studio's own price rules, not by hand.
A weekly slot
If the therapist works every Tuesday at 5 pm, that can be entered as a weekly series. The system does not allow an overlapping time, and buffer time between bookings is counted.
The owner sees the whole picture
One calendar replaces chat messages and a spreadsheet. The owner sees when each room is taken and can issue an invoice with a reference number.
A note on what is real
Studios have a separate renter-facing view in Saalo. This description is based on the current Venue plan; it makes no promises about results.
