Example scenario: conference centre
A seminar with catering: a quote without manual calculation
A made-up venue, Sadama Conference Centre, receives a company request for a seminar: a main hall, two workshop rooms and a coffee break.
Example scenario, not a customer story. The venue, people and prices are made up to show how Saalo works.
Several rooms in one request
The customer picks the main hall, two workshop rooms and a coffee break on the website form. Each room has its own rules, buffer times and capacity per seating layout (theatre, classroom, U-shape).
Packages, extras and VAT
The price comes from the centre's own rules: room hire, a per-person package, extras such as equipment and catering. VAT is shown separately on the quote.
Menu and diets
On the quote page the customer chooses a menu and enters the diet counts. The kitchen gets its own sheet from that.
Approval, acceptance, deposit
A team member checks the draft quote and sends it. The customer accepts through a link and can pay a deposit to the centre's Montonio account (live payments are in pilot).
What this example does not claim
It is not a real conference centre or a result. The names and prices are made up.
